Racing at the Medway RC Raceway in Chatham Kent
I have recently been working with Medway RC Raceway in Chatham Kent UK. The Raceway is the Love child Of Rich Hodgson who is trying to develop an RC community around his Raceway Based in Medway. The track is compact at the moment but the team has big plans to expand the track into what was the warehouse part of the building. The Track is well maintained and the carpet is kept smooth and clean.
Finding The Medway RC Raceway
The Track can be a little hard to find if you are new to the area as it is located within the Second Avenue industrial estate in Chatham Kent. Use the Postcode and you will find the little treasure of a track. The address is Unit A 33, 37 Second Ave, Chatham ME4 5AY.
There is limited parking at the front of the building but, there is also plenty of parking on the main road outside the track.
Entering The Medway RC Raceway
Entering through the main door, you will normally be greeted by one of the friendly team or the even friendlier customers, there is a great community spirit developing here. The reception desk is home to a small parts store and refreshment area which comes in handy in the event of a breakage. I can personally recommend one of Richard’s Amazing Coffees.
The Pits at Medway RC Raceway
Just after the reception area, you will find the pit area which is set out in individual booths for you to use as your garage while you are racing. There is normally plenty of room available.

The Track at Medway RC Raceway
After the pit area, you will find the compact but great RC Track. It is well-carpeted and maintained to a high Standard. I have driven here on many occasions and it is brilliant fun. Everyone joins in and helps out. It is a hands-on club and everyone helps out. If something gets broken there is normally someone who will help out with a part or some knowledge.
